Filet Cross stitch by
Donna D.
I have stitched over 2o years and never heard of this stitch. I am starting
a new project. An Eagle scout for my son. Most of it are filet stitches.
Nothing says what it is. Something I probably know but by another name
maybe.
Thanks
Donna

Paternayan yarn numbers by
elderberry22
Hi, I am thinking about making the pattern "Tinkle, a Cat" from the
book by Brande Ormond, _American Primitives in Needlepoint_. But when
I look at the Paternayan yarn numbers, they are so different! This
calls for quite a lot of Dark Red #201, but when I look at color
charts, 201 is quite a...

Eterna Silk Floss by
[email protected]
Hi,
I used to read this group on a daily basis, but haven't visited in many, many years. I lost my job (twice!!), found a new job, then retired a few years ago. Unfortunately, due to shoulder, back, and neck problems I haven't stitched much since then. So, I'm purging my stash.
Does anyone...

old tablecloth by
[email protected]
An elderly woman in our building put a tablecloth on display one
evening last week prior to it being picked up by the museum. She
thought it was needlepoint but actually it was 9 large squares of
cross stitch flower bouquets, crocheted together to make the cloth.
The work was lovely, the back...

A Finish by
Rich[_3_]
I'm back! Finally took the time to email my news server and get
posting turned on for my account.
I finished "Bluebird Garden" by Artful Offerings. The picture of the
model did not match the graph. Two of the blues were switched by the
model stitcher I guess. My email got no reply so I ended up...

Indigo Rose and Catherine Strickler by

Does anyone know if Catherine Strickler of Indigo Rose is still designing or in business? I've tried to contact her through an old e-mail address and phone number but the e-mail came back 'undeliverable' and the phone number is out of service.
I did one of her scissor fobs some years ago, and...

I've been out of the needlework teaching and writing loop for a couple of years and out of the RCTN loop for several more than that. This does not mean I haven't been stitching, generating more UFOs, or participating in SEX, however! (Just last night, a friend upped my quotient of UFOs and SEX...
