Hi all,

I want to find fabric for around $1.00 a yard. Could you please
provide me with mail order sources or URLs of sites that sell
fabric for this price? I would really appreciate it.

Thanks in advance!

Wholesale or retail? Magnafabrics.com sells it for less than that
wholesale.

Retail you can find lots at Walmart, but the place that used to have
$1-a-yard fabric stopped it a while back because their sources dried up.

Thanks for the URL Melinda. I would prefer retail, but wholesale
is okay too. I was aware of Wal-Mart's bargain bin, but the
problem is that I need a constant supply and I don't think that
Wal-Mart would be a vary reliable source in that regard.

I don't think the prices go that low for retail at this point any more.
But Magna fabrics had wonderful stuff for 40 cents a yard that left me
absolutely drooling, and I cried when they said that they are
absolutelyi wholesale -- wouldn't even tell me how much a minimum order
had to be (sob sob)

Phoenix Textiles (fabric.com) no longer has a formal $1/yard
page, but not too long ago I bought ten meters of real linen
for ten dollars. The print proves that black on white can
be really, really loud, but I'll find a use for it. (It
shows through the fabric I was thinking of underlining with
it, but I might make a shopping suit for the stinking-hot
parts of next summer.)

You can sign up for a mailing list that notifies you when
the website changes, or just check in once a week to read
the "deals" pages. (The real linen wasn't around long, and
I dithered and missed the rayon-linen underlining.)

Thank you both for the offer, however, I need a constant supply
of material in large volume.

Thanks again!
