Do you have a quilt on your bed? Did you make it? What does it look

like?
Why did you decide on that? Will LN really finish her own quilt?

No............ at least not yet. I am working on several, one or more of
which may end up on our bed.
I make quilts that I want to make.
LN has said she is starting her quilt.......... she never said she would
finish it, or when.

What a beautiful quilt, Connie. Thank you for telling us about it. A quilt
with love beats a quilt with expertise any day.IMHO. Polly

Yes, I do have a quilt on my bed. No, I didn't make it. What does it
look like??

Well, to be gentle, it is so ugly it is cute. But it has a story to
tell. Fifteen years ago, our house burned down. We live just outside a
very small town, and everyone banded together to help us out. They had
a big shower for us, and the Lutheran ladies (not my church) presented
us with 5 quilts. They had been making them for missions in Africa, and
just picked 5 to give us. It is a queen sized quilt, made of polyester
2 inch squares. They are very dark squares and came from old polyester
leisure suits, I think. The backing is an old black prequilted
bedspread. It weighs a ton, is impossible to decorate around, and stays
on my bed because it makes me feel loved.

(you might have to copy and paste the link into your browser)

| Why did you decide on that?

I didn't...someone else decided what it would look like (ok, a LOT of
someone elses decided) and I love it and treasure it too much to have it
anywhere else...not to mention its a "fertility quilt" EG

|Will LN really finish her own quilt?

Hard tellin, but I'm bettin that one will get finished by the turn of the
next century!

Hugs,
Karlee in Kansas, who is off to nap with the latest addition to the family

1. yes
2. I made the top, a friend "birthed" it and tied it for me
3. queen size bedspread (read many large borders) blue/green log cabin
4. it was the only pattern I knew how to do at that point (two baby quilts
first, then this - thank you Eleanor Burns!)
5. with our encouragement/nagging/teasing...yes, LN will finish it!
