Default OT back from my hospital visit

First of all I want to thank you for your good wishes and vibes. RCB
power at work again.

I got to see the Professor of Cardiology. We had a good satisfying talk.

He asked how I felt and did I think I was worse. I said that I was no
worse than my initial visit before the tests. I still get angina when I
climb up slopes, too many stairs or walk to fast.

He did say that the tests did show further signs of narrowing and the
only way to find out were it actually was, was to have another
angiogram. If I had that he said I may and only may could have further
angioplasty done. However the risk of heart attack would be present
whilst having it done. He went on to say that he did not think that any
further treatment would increase my life expectancy.

He was very pleased with my last fasting blood tests, he said they were
excellent on all counts.
He said that I had obviously taken charge of my disability and was doing
the right things.

So we agreed to leave things as it was but if the cold weather started
bothering me they would look at the options again.
I did have another blood test to check the blood count because being on
blood thinners can cause anaemia.

So I have what we call an open appointment and if things deteriorate I
can call them and they will see me straight away.

He also agreed with my travel to Malta and wished us a good time and a
Happy Golden wedding anniversary.

So as long as I do not get worse I shall live to pass on more crafts.

Thanks again for your vibes, as I sat in the waiting room I imagined you
all coming up to me with a hug.

Love
Shirley

Hi, Shirley. I missed your original post, but I'm glad your doctor's visit
turned out OK. And *congrats* on your Golden wedding anniversary. A trip
to Malta sounds very romantic.

I am glad he was candid about that. I think it's sad when folks suffer under
treatment only to "buy" a small amount of time.

I'm sending vibes for good health~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~!!!!!!!!

Lucky us for that gift!

I thought of you today while I was working.

I hope it ends up with not having to look at the options, but just being
well. And have a great trip to Malta!

Oh Shirley, you doll! And after hugging you we sat around beading and
chatting. (And passing low-fat cookies around.) I'm glad your news was as
good as it was, and that you got attention from a good doctor and have that
standing open appointment.
