Not a sad thing or anything like that! I was "baby" sitting (And I do mean
BABY!) She's a three yo Doberman & very spoiled rotten!! It was only for a
week but seems more like a YEAR!! WHEW She's sooo needy! She's NOT a
QI ! More like a quilt eater. I didn't want to find out so I didn't get
any thing done whil she was here. DSis just came & took her home. Thank
God.

Nana.... getting back to me quilting after I rest up!! She kept us awake
at night.

We babysat one like that MANY years ago. Couldn't manage to keep the
dog even one night - had to take him to the vet/kennel. And we had 2
of our own at the time. And the interloper was one of our's puppies.
But since it was the runt and we hand fed it and kept it alive beyond
what the doggy mom thought should have happened, she hated that puppy
till the day the mom died. It's amazing to me what they know. Rest
up and enjoy the peace.

We babysit for a rascal like that. DD's Yorkie is a hyper-happy fellow -
but he's ready to begin the day about 4:30 am. I've decided to roast some
turkey the next time he stays with us. Seems like it contains
tripto-something that makes people drowsy. We're hoping it will work on
George. He's adorable and exhausting. Polly

OK, you're all scaring me! I've agreed to watch my son's ****zu puppy this
weekend, from Friday afternoon until Monday afternoon. I've never had a
dog!! I think "Izzie" is darling, but I'm wondering how she'll behave 24
hours a day (and night)! I think I better go stock up on treats!!

Don't fret, Alice! We've had plenty of others through here that were
a delight. It's kind of like kids, at least from what I've been told
as we have none of those...It's always different at Grandma's house.
They may get spoiled more but they tend to behave better as well. Mom
& Dad teach them well - they just don't get to see those teachings
first hand. But the kids always behave when elsewhere.

Treats are a great idea. Just make sure they are really small ones
for the ****zu. They do have tiny little mouths/teeth and typically
don't handle the larger/harder treats well. DS's may be different.
I'm sure pup will come bearing tons of food/treats/toys. Enjoy!

Oh! Alice!! I think that a little dog DOES NOT compare to a huge
hard-headed Doberman!! 1st night she pooded on the floor & DH stepped in it
in the dark. The odor was horrid. Killed all appetites, took days to air
out, open windows, air fresh spray, candles.....She would not eat (they sent
raw hide bones & big dog treats for her) She was eating those & throwing
them up. Took them away & she whined insistently!! She has NO training,
manners. Was scared of almost everything, except the broom. I didn't swat
her with it ( I felt like it) I just showed it to her & she behaved a
little. She whined at night & we had sleepis interrupts. I would glagly
take care of your little dog any day. It is the kennel for this little
(BIG) girl next time!!

Careful on the treats, they gave this gal gas (eye watering gas!!)
