Default Plumbers working in my studio

We had scheduled to have a bathroom remodeled this week. The tile in
the shower area had cracked. Water had gotten behind the tile and the
wall was crumbling. We decided to have all tile and fixtures removed
and the bathroom made into a handicapped bathroom. This will be easier
for my mom to use when she visits and would be ready for her if she
has to move in with us.

Good news. The area behind the shower had been repaired by a previous
owner. They had not used the correct material behind the tile. What we
thought was disintegrating plaster was only this weak backing giving
way. There was no damage to the rest of the plaster in the room or the
studs.

Good news for family but bad news for me. Since the repair would cost
much less than feared the husband asked the plumber to run a new line
from the water heater to this bathroom hoping that would improve the
water pressure. This line runs through the ceiling of my studio! They
had to remove two shelving units full of fabric (I wasn't home so it
is now on the family room floor). They will be working in my studio
most of the day so I won't be able to lock myself in and sew like I
had planned.

Plumbers just arrived so I must sign-off. Think I will spend the day
shop-hopping.
