Do any one know of a good fair aisle blanket pattern? If there is a
chart, I hope it has the direction with it.

Why not design your own? Choose the fair isle elements you like, and
arrange them with the largest/fanciest for the center, and then place
the others at the sides in a mirror-image. Put 1 to 3 stitches of
seed stitch in between each element, and add a border all around --
about an inch of seed stitch would be nice. Count up the stitches for
each element, for the inbetweens, and for the inch of seed stitch on
each side, and that is your total stitch count. Cast on that number
of stitches, make an inch of seed stitch for the end border, and then
do your fair isle elements with the seed stitches in between, keeping
the inch of seed stitch on each side. When the piece is long enough
to please you, finish with another inch of seed stitch. You will want
to look carefully at rows, of course, particularly with diamonds so
you begin and end at the same spot -- that is, if your diamonds are 20
rows long, you will want your length to be a multiple of 20 rows. I
have made several of these, and they're rather fun to do!
