I'm working on a BOM quilt called "Simple Pleasures". It has flowers, a
kitten, mittens, hearts so far. I think it will always bring smiles when I look at it! -- Bonnie NJ |

Good luck Susie - hope you enjoy the course.
My 6500 was at a special offer price at local dealers and, it seems, everywhere. DH paid by credit card (it was a surprise pressy), and the receipted bill we got was actually from Janome. Apparently here Janome set the prices by actually doing the transaction themselves! So all the hunting around for the best price (which, surprise, surprise were all the same) turned out to be a waste of time. -- Cynical Sally in Suffolk UK http://community.webshots.com/user/sallyswin On Mon, 11 Apr 2005 19:22:51 GMT, "Susie" wrote: The first thing that has made me happy this week is having my grandson tell me he loves me and getting a few big hugs. Also the anticipation of going to a 3 hour Janome workshop at the mall tomorrow. I have been looking at the Janome's for a few months now. We will be using the Janome 6500 and the 300e. I'm told there will be a special price too. Susie .........What has made you happy this week? |

Oh Charlotte, that is so awesome! Isn't that just the greatest simple
pleasure in life?! Hmmm, mine was Saturday, strolling the flea market with DD. Last night, when my boys came home and DS came running through the door - "Mommy, mommy I'm home for you, where are you?!" Then throwing himself at me and hugging me to death! life is good, very, very good, Tina |

It was finally warm enough to open some of the storm windows, let the
screens down and some fresh air into the house. Linda, in Lancaster "Pat in Virginia" wrote in message news:0Mz6e.6350$d43.2708@lakeread03... We do that too....ceptin DH just will not dance - but I can get him to "shuffle" occasionally! LOL The kids and I love to play Elton John (although daughter is sure he is way too old for her tastes) - Crocodile Rock, especially - I almost wet my pants when DS, with air microphone, hammers out, "Hey mama, mama, it's Saturday night!" and jitterbugs me to death! ROFL It's hysterical! Sometimes we just end up in a big pile in the living room floor, laughing so hard we're all holding our bellies and crying! Of course, you should see my football player - when he does "ballet" Tina, laughing just thinking about it P.S. Thank you so much Pat, and a great big HUG - I need this post! |

Yesterday DD (7yrs old) and I took a long walk in the cemetery a distance
from our home. We talked as we walked through the winding paths, looked at the water fall, played Pooh cones. We explored various nooks and crannies of this resting place, looking at the numerous tomb stones, basically looking at the history of this small town we live in (dating prior to 1776). The weather was beautiful. The sun was shining and we just explored and talked, and talked about everything. It's times like these that I am reminded of how fortunate I am to have my health and such a beautiful soul in my life. She keeps me in line as to what is important in life.
