Default S.E.X. and ready to roll....in another 2 hours or so

Decided to take a break from the jacket lining (on a bit of handsewing,
shich I *really* hate) to gather the fabrics for the BOM, Pastor's PP
wallhanging, karate teacher's baby quilt, etc. DIscovered that I didn't
actually have ANY black and that the brown I bought was too light.

*flicker....flicker...flciker......AH-HA!! (lightbulb moment)* My
little LQS is having an anniversary sale (5 years in business), and
EVERYTHING was 50% off!! So, I loaded up the tiny tot, headed to the
post office, then to fabric store, then to grocery store.

grabbed the black and brown, plus a couple of purples because I"m not
sure I like the one that I had planned for a block, some green and
orangey-red for the MBR quilt that I will be making out of the BOM, and
shoulder pads for the jacket...grand total? $17.43!!

WaHOOOoooooooooooooooooooooo!! Now, everything has been washed and
dried, most of it has been ironed, and as soon as i finish sewing in the
lining sleeves and repairing the hideous sewing job on the costume i
will be wearing for the Easter Cantata, I will be ready to roll...like I
said, about another 2 hours.

SO happy to be back in the quilting world - it's much easier to square
up a block than to make clothing adjustments on yourself sigh
