Um....if stringing I personally use Soft Flex nylon covered wire. It's
indestructable. Well, pretty much. For beadweaving, I personally use Silamide. It breaks less than Nymo in my experience, and is easier to use. I need something strong that will stand up to everyday wear with the weight of 30-35g of glass and metal beads, yet thin enough to fit doubled through seed beads. I've been using nylon upholstery thread with good results, but I'd like to know if there's something better out there. I've read the toddler catching incident with the bracelet made from waxed linen (what a save!) What are your thoughts? Thank you! |
