I would like to make more different kind of glass beads.
My customers won't pay more then 2-3 Dollars/Euro per glass bead so time consuming beads are out. To give an idea of my skill level click on the link please: http://koti.mbnet.fi/xenos/home_page/gallery/test1.html What book or dvd video should i buy? |

I think the best beginner book out there is Corina Tettinger's "Passing the Flame". It's pretty pricy, but worth it. You can find it at http://WWW.corinabeads.com. If price is an issue, then Cindy Jenkin's book "Making Glass Beads", is also a winner, as is the more expensive/advanced sequel, "Beads of Glass". I don't have any videos but I hear Jim Smircich's is very good. There is a lot of good beadmaking information in the glass forums at http://www.wetcanvas.com, and also at http://isgb.com. My links are in my sig, if you want to check out my work. Have fun playing with glass! -- -Kalera --------- http://www.beadwife.com auctions at http://www.snurl.com/1sfe |
