Dr. Quilter: I know you only read the n/g on the weekends, but perhaps you
could arrange to do all your replying after you've read the entire
threads...this one was particularly "hairy" and had pretty much been
resolved...

just a thought!

True, but all of their posts from the 9th, 10th, & 11th were from the
same IP. Road Runner is a cable modem service, so the connection is
always on and you generally keep your IP as long as you keep your PC
running. Also, at least one post from Dan was signed "Sue." And they
both indent their names at the end (admittedly not rare, but not all
that common,) usually sign with their full first name but occasionally
just the first initial with about the same frequency, and both were
posting for a while with no "" before the quoted text. The "Sue H."
in the from field also varied on one post on the 10th ("Sue. H")
suggesting the setting was edited along the way.

It's too much circumstantial evidence to ignore. They're either the
same person, or they have a much closer relationship than "Sue" is
claiming.

Ah! That would explain the post by Dan/Zebo signed "Sue"

I sincerly doubt it. They're in the Tampa area and are using a cable
provider. What do you suppose the odds are that those two people in
particular would get the same IP on the same day? And not just once either.
I think the odds against that would be pretty high, probably astronomically
high.

If it were dialup, yes. But with cablemodem, no---that identifies the
specific household. May or may not actually be the same computer---could be
different computer, same home network---but it's the same household.

Thanks Ragmop. because my next posting was going to say 'WHATEVER', all
in caps.. )

since you like 'odd looking cars' like the PT cruiser, (I like that one,
the VW beetle, the mini cooper), what do you think of the Suzuki Aereo?
