Default should have said 'directory - any interest?'

After getting a very small response on a topic that usually generates a
few more comments, I am reposting under a different subject line.

Would anyone here be interested in me putting together a simple
directory? Does anyone still want to send out squishies, or is that
something of the past? Hug quilts seem to be going by the wayside,
also, I noticed. Lifestyles are changing, commitments are increasing,
etc. Any thoughts on a directory?

I think it's worth noting that this directory would include those who
are in the Facebook group, not just those who are still using the Usenet
group, right? I don't use Facebook much myself, but it's nice to see
some of the "old" names popping up again.

Yes, you are correct, and the vetting process is the same as it has
been. Not everyone who wants in just gets in. I am keeping all the
info secure.

I'm ambivalent. I really don't care either about sending or receiving
squishes. I don't want any more fabric---trying to use up the stash.
If you want to do the work, I see nothing wrong with that.

I hope HUG quilts aren't going by the wayside - I enjoy contributing
to something that makes someone so happy when they receive such a
surprise. Has anyone ever seen pictures of the HUG given to Mrs.
Gifford?
