OT (and some not) - Friday update

Well I've gotten my email problems resolved, but not my newsgroup one.
So I'm posting from Google again.

So today Kate Drew-Wilkinson and I met - talked some about all the
stuff I will be doing, hung out at the Gallery, and had lunch. I may
be going over there this evening and get to see some of the stuff I'll
be sorting. Sorting and making headpins will be some of my first
tasks.

Bisbee seems like a cool little town (a mini Asheville). They have a
Farmer's Market on Saturdays so I may check that out in the morning.
There's a town about 20-30 minutes away that has Target for my
shopping fix

So I think this is going to be a great experience for me. wheeeeeee.

Come visit if you need to get away - my house has 2 bedrooms. And I'm happy
to have visitors.

Sorry we didn't get to meet up on my drive out. I stopped in Abilene and
then headed north to Carlsbad.

woo hoo - got the problem with my news reading solved - always helps to have
the correct name of the news server LOL!!

I've marked lost of stuff as read - I got to download over 13,000 posts -
but I'll start catching up.
