I made some more of those "huge" beads for auctions. (Size is relative.) I have a "September Green" set on JustBeads, and an "Autumn Fire" set on ebay. I also have some of my usual smaller types on both auctions. http://members.ebay.com/aboutme/mothwoman/ http://www.justbeads.com/search/ql.cfm?s=mothwoman Thanks for looking! Joan Eckard http://www.mothwoman.com I love your tiny little intricate beads! They're so wonderful. The bigger ones are lovely too, but my heart belongs to the wee ones. -- -Kalera http://www.beadwife.com http://www.bridgetownglass.com On eBay: http://www.snurl.com/1sfe |

LOL we have a bat house on the side of our house. Poor things have been
seriously displaced by all the development. DH and I sit out on the back porch at twilight to watch the "air show". First there's the last snacks from the hummingbirds (we have 5 feeders and they still argue). Then the swallows, and then the bats. Unfortunately bat-time also means the extra-icky bugs come out to crawl around so I'm done. But it's a blast to watch, especially full moon nights, cuz the moon rises right into our back yard. Nope. Totally true. Marin Bat Rescue, or something like that.

That's one thing I've always wanted -- a bat house! Do they really use
it? Bats have been badly, and mistakenly, maligned. Without bats we'd be eaten alive by mosquitoes, and CRAWLING with bugs. They're gentle little creatures that are crucial to the ecosystem. ```````````````````````````` Karen Sherwood wrote: LOL we have a bat house on the side of our house. Becki LOL silly! Whether we had the house or not, they'd still be around. We just gave them a safe place that won't be terraformed any time soon. I HATE the construction around here (our development notwithstanding, of course G). They're trying to put in a Walmart at the end of our street (1/4 mile away) and we're fighting it like crazy. We already have TEN within a 10 mile radius! (Plus Sam's and the supermarket only variations.) Anyway, Sooz, yes, the bats seem to like it. I think we have two, though they're tough to identify (just don't hold still for long). I think we have 4 hummers, but I'm not even sure of that! KarenS |

Hummingbirds and bats are a LOT alike. Hummingbirds are tiny birds who
zoom by day, are bat-sized, and crap on you. Bats are tiny mammals (more like us), they zoom by night, and they crap on you. But they also eat bad bugs that transmit Nile Fever (or whatever that disease is called -- did I get it right?). How about the fruit bats of the southern hemisphere, which are like flying dogs? They're *damned* cute! For a strong, independent woman, you are such a big baby!! LMAO Come with me to the Bat Center and overcome one of your fears! ``````````````````````````````````` Beckibead wrote: I care not about their plight. LMAO. You will have to meet me someplace.
