seeking my ideal watch

Hope this is an appropriate post. I'm looking for a watch that does
several things I need, and no more. I'm looking for a watch with a
unidirectional rotating bezel, alarm, date and ideally day. Does anyone
know of a watch that does all this but no more? Thanks for any advice.

It would be even more appropriate on alt.horology. Also tell them what
your budget is, what colors you like, and whether you want quartz or
mechanical. I predict the thread goes to thirty messages.

Pick a maker, find their e-mail (via website of course), write about what
you'd need and they might be of a better help than anyone here (at least I
think). There are also good forums like those on www.timezone.com Good luck!
