Default Glass coloring

I have some pieces of a mirror, I wish to color. it would be a
transparent color (Blue, red, green and the like) is this an etching
process (Dipping in acid) or how would I go about this?

A. Buy colored plastic liquid used to make fake stained glass effects.
B. Buy stained glass and have it mirrored.
Etching has nothing to do with it
