Default Quilt for me March and April 2005

I can't believe I totally forgot to post this...lol

Well......not much progress on this front, other than getting the
backing of my double nine patch pieced. Still, progress is progress.

How about you?

It makes people mad when I list everything I finish. :-/

In March I finished two twin-sized bed quilts (each going to one of my
sons), a pyramids lap quilt for my husband, and a log cabin lap quilt
for the living room.

Just this past week I finished piecing two lap quilt tops, a fat quarter
handbag, and a crazy quilt vest. I just got the side seams on the vest
finished this morning, and it only needs buttons and buttonholes now. I
have yet another lap quilt pinned and ready to machine quilt; I'm saving
that for a Friday Sewing Frenzy that's coming up soon.

Current piecing project is a celtic knotwork quilt. This will go
slowly, both because it's queen-sized and because the piecing has to be
very meticulous. Even the sashing and borders are complicated (garden
maze). It's intended for my own bed, so my husband had a say in the
colors (after all, it's his bed too).

That's it. For today. (Please don't hate me!)

Why - it don't make me mad. But then just about nothing makes me mad - I
won't let it. I'm in control of my feelings and no one - other than me -
can make me feel anything. Keep up the good work - inspires me to keep
plugging away on those UFO's. I'm finishing them much faster now that I
have learned to sew the binding. Thanks!
