I've been working longer days on the job and longer at home with DS, DIL,
and DGS living with us. I did get 20 quilts and flannel blankets made and
sent to relief shelters. Tomorrow it's off to a local farm to pick corn
then get it in the freezer. Tuesday I hope to get my Brother sewing machine
cleaned and in it's travel case for the trip to California in 2 weeks. Also
need to gather fabric, patterns, thread, etc for the month with my DD. Next
week on my days off I hope to pick beans and get them canned. And then
finish packing for the trip. I have 3 baby quilts to make. Two tops are
done and the third is in the mental planning. That baby boy isn't due until
Jan. Sometime in the next two weeks I need to get this house cleaned. My
sewing room looks like a tornado went thru. Everything is tossed about.
I've been ready some messages. Cheering on those completing projects.
Praying for those that request prayers. ETC, ETC. I just don't have time
to respond as much as I have in the past.

Happy Stitching.

Arrr! Pick some o' that sweet corn fer me, Mary! The corn harvest here has
been more miserable than a land-locked pirate! Ah, to skewer an ear on me
hook and roast it.... Arr! I mean an ear o' corn ye scurvy dog!

Don't forget to take some time for yourself, Mary. For all you do, you need
to keep your batteries charged.

Last corn we got wasn't the best but it's better than nothing. Get that
hook ready to catch the ones I toss your way. This afternoon or tomorrow I
will MAKE time for me to fondle fabric and maybe make a hug block or two.

Whew! Mary, you need to find some time to relax! You're going so hard
you'll collapse if you don't take a little time for yourself. Best of
luck!

Thanks, Sandy. I do know that when I get to my DD's I will get to relax and
enjoy my time with her and help with her new baby when she arrives.
