Hi I am new this forum. Glad to have found this. I live in a small town Burney in Northern Ca.

I have started a small business. I wanted a Pottery studio-- the comunity wanted a ceramic shop where they can do projects.

My kiln will only fire on the bottom Half. if I use both halfs it kicks my brakers lol

but i cant achive my 04-05 cone after 16 hrs of firing the pieces seem to be fine.

Help please

All advise is welcome.

I wanted it to be my pottery studio- the community wanted a ceramic shop
instead with instruction. This is not my fortae but I quess I am
learning by the seat of my pants LOL.
I have a 12 sided kiln about 3 feet tall with two sections I cant run
bothe halfs because it kicks by breaker and even if I fire it for 16
hrs it still does not get to cone 04-05 but the peices seem to be just
fine even the glazed ones.

Any and all sugestion are welcome

Have you had a professional electrician look at your wiring that the
kiln is hooked to and do you know what your kiln requires. I have done
wiring for my house but this is something I would not play with and I
hired a licenced electrician to do the work. I seriously recommend
that you do not live with the kiln the way it is even if it is
'working'.

Good luck with your new adventure! I imagine it will be fun to learn
as you go. Donna
