So I'm getting to start a new project, Fish City, but it's 29"x21" and I
don't have scroll rods anywhere near long enough. I need 7 more floss
colours (can you believe that's even possible??), so off I go to
Michael's with my 40% off coupon. I'm thinking I can get some for $10
or $15. No luck. Nada. No big deal. Next stop is Home Depot - I'll
buy dowels and hanger screws and make my own...total cost? $4.79!!!
Just add some velcro that I already have and I'm ready to stitch
tomorrow! Cheap S.E.X.

Yep. I did the same thing. Actually, mine were used with the cheap
scrolls where you just insert the dowel into the side piece, so I didn't
even need the hardware or Velcro.
