"Dr. Brat" opined:

Why say if you don't like it? Everybody has different tastes, but why
not let those who are pleased with it bask in their enjoyment for a while?

Are you serious? Why not let those who are pleased back in their enjoyment
for
a while? Holy cow. Is that any thing like me basking in Clinton the other
night as my president was on 60 Minutes and I want him back, but people are
not
letting me bask in his glow? Geesh. Nobody is that immature, are they?

Besides, it doesn't seem to me that everyone rushes to say if they like
or don't like every new design that's posted about here. In fact, I
don't think I've ever seen anyone come out and immediately say that they
didn't like something when a link was posted, unless it was one of MLI's
and then I can predict who will post their dislike.

That's because she is a frigging nasty cow. Her **** don't stink. She is
the
all knowing, quintessential goddess of the airwaves. Her designs should make
us
all prostrate in adherence to her presence. She is a liar, manipulative cow.
Mooo.

I suppose. That's not my perspective on it, but that's ok.

Anyone can skew anything, but in this case, people strongly dislike the
broad.
That doesn't happen by accident. She caused the conditions for many people
to
dislike her. She's obnoxious and smarmy and many here don't like her, thus,
the
yahoo group for all her fans. If you don't want opinions other than good
ones,
I suggest you only post in the sycophant egroup

Gee, Victoria, tell us what you really think!!! ROFL

I think the fact that that designer out and out lied to us specifically does
tend to color our feelings towards her.

If the new angel had been something new I'd have been delighted, but, alas,
it's not. It's a shame when an artist's creativity dries up, and it seems to
be the case here.

But she has her little world of her fans who will continue to tell her how
wonderful she is, so she's happy.

Why this group should be expected to do the same is beyond me.

Linda D. had some very interesting things to

Personally, I think TW could use a good deal more color in her colors,
but that's my taste.

There is a huge difference between the photos of a TW and the stitched TW.

She uses bright colors, but for some reason all the photos look muted.

Celestial Dragon, for instance looks very bland in it's picture, but the
stitched version is very vivid.

Just my observation, having stitched so many!

I've got Celestial Dragon at the front of my stash cabinet, just waiting

for me to get my hot hands on it. I haven't put together any of the thread
yet. I generally like the more muted colors for something like that. Of
course, I don't mean dull so should I just buy the colors suggested in the
chart or should I look to change any?

Do you like teal?? LOL

In the photo the dragon looks very blue, in reality it's more blue/green. She
includes BF in parts of it as well.

I really should pull mine back out, the dd it's for would like it before she
goes to college in 4 years! rofl

Or she could admit she lied and then write a best selling book telling why
and how she lied, a la someone I liked and still like despite his
transgressions.

She also said no more selling at chain stores. Not only does Hobby

Lobby have
most every chart made by her, they sell her kits, also. Lie number one.

That's
enough for me to discontinue trusting anything she says. I could forgive

that
if she came back with "I lied...bla, bla, bla..."

Feh.

Wow Caryn,

You said just what I was thinking but I couldn't quite get up the nerve to
say so.

Didja read the comment by Gore Vidal, who was quoted as saying "He lied about
sex, which in my day was what a gentleman was supposed to do!

Careful Jenn! I started out saying the same thing about Marc's
designs, and I'm now starting to acquire both the lighthouses (since
he's done a couple from Maine) and irises!! VBEG

Jenn Liace wrote in message . ..

I'm rapidly getting there about both Marc Saastad (The Silver Lining)
and Just Nan. I must admit that I'm not into lighthouses and the
poppies and irises aren't my thing, but I absolutely LOVE the roses
(and I'm waiting quite impatiently for the lilacs I hear are
coming....) And Nan has some "misses" in terms of the things I like,
but I still run eagerly to her site for pictures whenever I hear of a
new one.
