Batting Question
I have a questions about Warm and Natural batting. It says it's 100%
cotton. I picked up a remnant of it last night and was wondering if this would be ok for my potholders? Sindir-ella |

Sure! W&N or Quilter's Dream Cotton are in most of mine. (Although I like
using two layers for the pot holders where I'm actually going to be holding a hot heavy pot. One layer is fine for the pot holders where I'm pulling out the rack on the toaster oven.) -- Kathy A. Ive used all types of batting for mine... but always add a layer of denim
from used up jeans for added heat protection. It seems to work! Diana -- Queen of FAQs Royal Peace Maker http://photos.yahoo.com/lunamom44 "Kathy Applebaum" wrote in message . com... Sure! Diana I prefer to make mine from baby corduroy with two layers of W&N wool batting, means I have to hand quilt (attepmt to) because my present machine will not sew through that much heavy material. I had a few iffy moments just piecing the last one I made. -- Melinda http://cust.idl.com.au/athol |
