Jim asked about Glasscrafters:

Are you actually getting 16X24 sheets sent w/o significant breakage?

Yes.

Great googley-moogley. What kind of packaging do they come in, and what
sort of shipping charges are you paying for 12 sheets? I believe that was
what you said you were getting at a time.... I have my old invoices from the
spring to compare prices with. Any help would be tremendously appreciated!
Jim

Get your butt online and buy some glass! 10% off everything till the
end of October. Shipping rates are on the site. It's by the dollar
amount you buy, not by weight, so it's easy to figure out how much
shipping is. Make sure you get the catalog number for the item you
want if you are going to call it in. It makes it easier. You give
them the number and they give you the nomenclature to verify.

I compared Glasscrafters to Delphi for a sheet of 16x24 red opal
Spectrum and Delphi was around $25 and Glasscrafters was around $18
(cents truncated).

I have 28k dialup; I do very little online as it takes 4EVER! They are
layting fiber optic cable for dsl, but it will be months....
Did you say they ship 12 pcs. per box? I have looked at their site, but
the connection is so slow it is a nightmare to do anything.... Usenet is
about all I can do quickly.
The place I've been using only ships 12x16 sheets, max. I've had zero
breakage, but GC is a bit cheaper and getting the 16x24's would seem to be
worth the 20 minutes it would take to order =each= piece!!!!

I have the numbers from my old receipts and compared to the GC site, so
I'm already familiar with what they have, the prices and shipping I've been
paying.
Thanks,
Jim
