Default "HUG" KATE....long

Well yellow roses are the flower for friendship and the flowers I used for
my first wedding. So when I heard that Mz Kate liked yellow and roses -
well I just had to do the appliqued rose block that I found right away in
the completed quilt and I did it all by machine and with 3-D rose buds -
ala elle sankoweicz. First time I had ever done the stems and leaves by
machine but it went very well. Had to hurry due to the dead line so had to
work the first time I tried - LOL. So I got the pleasure of participating
in this happy and delightful quilt and learned a new skill. Double bonus.

I saw a block and said, Hey, I have that fabric, but it wasn't my block.
Another one was the same block I'd done for Polly's, but wasn't my block...
had to keep looking!

What a lovely report. I am not sure if I sent in a block, (my mind is

quilt and the friendship it represents.
Hugs,

Hey PAT!!! Glad to know I wasn't the only one who temporarily lost
their mind. I can't remember if i sent a block either, but I guess that
happens from time to time, right???

Larisa

I can almost *never* remember whether I've sent a block for any given
Hug quilt! I have to scour the photos to see if I can recognize anything
there. G
