Why are we suddenly...

Getting swamped with adverts for stuff on Ebay? The only effect it has on
me is to killfile the poster.

I think she is referring to the fact that people aren't offering stuff
to sell directly, but just advertising their auctions--which is what I
do....

My offerings, whether on eBay or not, are my selling stuff directly. If
eBay is someone's venue for sales, I think it's okay.
