Default Wanted: that octagonal crocheted afghan pattern

My aunt made one of these ages ago, but I liked it and 'twas a nice
change from the grannie type.
Thanks, if you can direct me to a site, book etc.

No Octagones but a wonderful collection of unusual afghans , you can
find in
Country Afghans , The Vanessa-Ann collection, Oxmoor house 1994

I found several when I googled free pattern octagonal crochet afghan.

Alternatively, you could post your request on r.c.t.yarn, lots of keen
crocheters over there.

Alas Most of that group has been gobbled up by advertisements.

By the way , have you thought of making a Hexagon afghan ,,, much
easier ,,

Octagons need little squares in between

of one color.
