Default quilting and economics

Sold my Singer Featherweight sewing machine this morning.
With the way the economy is heading for myself, I needed the
money. Went fast....first lady that called bougth it....and fell in
love with it.

Her first name is also Donna. She makes Prayers Quilts and
also Quilts of Honor for Madison Hospital. My machine couldn't
have gone to a more perfect home!

Told her she had to give it a name and she wanted to call it
Donna after my name and hers.....but she liked my suggestion:
DD

It sounds like a perfect match for the new owner. She's happy and so
are you to know it went to such a good person. I'm happy for both of
you! (another) Donna

It's really difficult to send a Featherweight to a new home, but it
does sound as though you found a home where it will be loved and cared
for. I realize we're really not supposed to anthropomorphise objects,
but in the case of a Featherweight I do think it's justified -- they
KNOW when they are loved, and respond accordingly. DD will be happy
in her new home, even though she will surely miss you, too.
