Do anyone know where we can have contact information, perhaps web pager link. Some camping supply stores sell the kind of fabric that is used for making tents, which is normally waterproof. However, if there are seams in the luggage, they won't be waterproof unless you also use a seam sealant. I don't know where you could find a fabric with a sponge layer in between, but you could make a sandwich yourself using two layers of tent fabric and a middle layer of some other sort of stiffener, which you could probably find in any fabric store. (Ask for interlining.) www.campmor.com has lots of tent manufacture products, including seam sealants and waterproofing sprays. It's a bit hard to find their fabrics from the home page, but I found it and converted it to a tiny URL: http://tinyurl.com/5v5kp -- Barbara Vaughan My email address is my first initial followed by my last name at libero dot it. |
