Default In the pink!

It's a girl! It's been confirmed! My soon-to-be-here grandchild is a
"grand daughter"! The baby is due in early October. I have a business
trip to Florida next week near my mom and son and DIL and my suitcase
is going to be stuffed with little pink things!

My son and DIL are "tickled pink" - pun intended, and so am I!

You'll have to excuse me now, I have to go buy some pink and white
fabric for several crib quilts!

Congratulations, Alice! I was hoping one of my four DGSs would be a
boy, but it didn't happen. G It would have been such fun to do the
frilly pink thing! Have a ball!

That is wonderful Alice. I like babies in most any variety but
I think girls tend to be my favorite.

Little girls are so much fun!! I loved sewing for my DGD and completely
decorated her room. The child never slept in the room because ex-DIL didn't
want to get up at night. Unfortunately, it was used as a time-out room when
DGD was older. So very sad.

Those little granddaughters are so much fun. I just spent a couple of
days with my grandkids because their day care provider was sick. DGS is
5 and DGD is almost 3. Both are real sweeties, and they generally play
very well together. DGD even asked Gramma to tuck her in last night even
though Mom and Dad were both there.
