Default dropping in again

Hey everyone. Momentarily dropping in again. I do still stop by often
eventhough you don't see me. I don't have anything to add to the on topic
questions as I don't have enough experience yet, and don't have the time to
respond to all the happy dances, other happy announcements and prayer
request. I do however read them and dance with you or try to remember your
needs in my prayers.

I've been busy more with getting the house put back together from our home
improvement projects, trying to get ready for baby and temporarily taking
care of the nephew (finally finished!!!) than doing anything quilty. I have
made some progress on my baby set finally however. The quilt ~ more of a
comforter as it is made from a design panel not pieced ~ has the prairie
points on and the layers quilted together. Now I need to hand sew the edge
together. I'm hesitant to start as I'm not sure what I'm doing since it has
prairie points and not a binding or how it will turn out. I have the bumper
pads sewn, quilted and binded only thing left on them are the ties. I still
have to make 2 sheets (cut out and waiting to be sewn), the bed skirt, and
window valance. I also have a blanket I'm crocheting that is alittle over
half finished. With only 10 weeks left and almost everything to get ready
still as well as the sewing, I was teasing my mother that she'll be
finishing up the sewing for me while I'm in the hospital delivering!!

DS (2 1/2) seems to be pretty interested/excited in having a baby brother,
and is enjoying helping me start to get prepared. Hopefully that won't
change for the worst when the baby gets here!!

Happy quilting!!
Charlotte

Nice to meet you. Please remember to take time to put your feet up. If only
you could 'bank' that sleep for later when the babe arrives eh!
