Default Copper-colored solder?

Has anyone ever heard of copper-colored solder? It would sure look nice.

I think that's why they make copper patina.

You CAN copper plate solder or even lead came. All the Tiffany lamps
were copper plated, then aged with patina.

Solders are usually an alloy of lead and tin, tin, silver, or other
metals or some other combination. Copper and zinc make brass, so you
can use brazing rod, but that won't give you a copper color. Copper
plating (electro-plating) doesn't work, especially on tin-lead solder
because the copper plating gets absorbed into the lead.

Thus, your only option is to chemically treat it to get a coppery
appearance, and that's what's called "patina".

Yeah, it's called copper sulfate, and your local stained glass dealer
carries lots of it.
