Dangers of sewing with invisible thread
Trying to finish up a project using invisible thread. Neglected to pull
up the new bobbin thread and stitched about 60" before I realized no stitching. I think the invisible thread also got sucked down into the bobbin area and wrapped around something and my 6600 is now locked up. Off to dealer for repairs Maybe learned my lesson about holding the tails when starting. I did say maybe... Still have my 9500 I can finish on. -- Denny in Fort Wayne http://community.webshots.com/user/kiteflyer54 /\ / \ / \ \ / \ / \/ \ \ / \ \ / \ |

Yup, been there done that. Now if you fix it and it still acts up, take
a part and clean. I'll bet there will be a small piece of it stuck some where and causing issues. However when I remember to pull up the thread I don't have any issues with invisible thread, in fact I use it a lot. Dangers of sewing with invisible thread
I've just used it for the first time and had no problems. It was on the
top and behaved better than normal thread. Sally at the Seaside~~~~~~~~~~~~~uk http://www.flickr.com/photos/sallyattheseaside/ Joanna wrote: Yup, been there done that.
