Which brings me to why I don't have anything in my pictures besides
beads... I tried and tired to find a readily recognizable small item to
put in my auctions, something that is always the same size and
universally available.

If there is such a thing, I never found it.

A toothbrush.

Now you know why seeing you get hooked has been the best revenge Di !
Next you need to try silver wire and get some fancy silver beads and all
sorts of silver spacers and fill in beads for your stash for when you need
something to go with a certain type of glass beads that you resist as long
as possible then the corrupting influence gets too much and you crack
completely.

Some Day I will either get even with all of you, or find a way to pass

the
joy around. I think it would be more fun to get someone else hooked. :-)

Im seeing that a bead pallete is like a quilters. I dont mind

If there is something wrong with you there is something wrong with all of
us. I refuse to believe there is. Beads are pretty. Beads feel nice, pretty
things made with beads make people smile. Beads not made into things make
people feel good too, all the potential they have is exciting.
You could stop buying them, sure. The whole bead economy would come to a
screeching halt if we only bought beads that we could guarentee we would
use. We buy them on speculation. In your case I believe they act as
inspiration.
And, as Candace said, her birthday is coming up.

A beaded ruler!

That would rock!

I've been giving it some thought, there are some beads that are sized evenly
enough to make it worth a try.

I read yours after I read hers! Yours makes sense too, although I was
trying to reconcile the logic of selling beads to make money so I can
spend money on beads... LOL!
