Something about me already having a petcock and DH is forming in my head,

Just as funny as the buyers who cant read are the sellers who dont know their product. I once wrote to a seller about a pressure cooker. The photo showed no petcock. This must be true cause I've seen auctions specify that "the coin is for
size reference only, and not included in the auction." Which brings up another question...What do people who auction coins use for size reference?....hmmmm.... =oD..hee hee Dawn "Stephanie" wrote in message ... Um... yeah, that's incredibly dumb. Read the description to see if it's
the size you want, don' get mad at the seller for sending you exactly what they had for sale! LOL! I just ordered some .7mm Stretch Magic, and if it's too thin to string lampwork on, I'm not gonna leave a disappointed neutral for the seller... duh! -Kalera http://www.beadwife.com http://www.snipurl.com/kebay Empress Beads wrote: I am amazed that people can't read a title or description for a product. A lady just left neutral feedback without contacting me at all about how small her beads were. 3mm is in the title and description. If you are not sure you should email buyer if you are not statisfied with your purchase. uuuggghhh! This just ticks me off when people don't communicate! -AMY http://www.empressbeads.com |

I do that too, and furthermore, I always check the buyer's feedback to
see if the seller left them a retaliatory feedback. I won't buy from a seller who does that, period. -Kalera http://www.beadwife.com http://www.snipurl.com/kebay Diana Curtis wrote: You are so right! When I check a sellers feedback one thing I am swayed by is how they choose to respond to negatives. Heated responses make me close the window and go on to another seller. Seeing the exact same response given to all the negatives also concerns me. A polite explanation that seems rational doesnt make me bidding at all. Its hard to do in 80 characters. That system needs an overhaul. Diana |

Yep, good point.
I often buy a small quantity of something so I know whether it's really right, before I commit to a lot. -Kalera http://www.beadwife.com http://www.snipurl.com/kebay Diana Curtis wrote: I just ordered, and recieved some beads from a seller who is quite reputable.. good descriptions and measurements on her site, and even tho I thought I knew what 4mm would look like I really didnt....a ruler didnt shed any light. Reality did. Holding those pretty little crystals in my hand showed me what 4mm looks like. Now I know. There is no way Id leave anything but positive feedback for my order. lol I am the mixed up one, not the seller. Diana -- Vote this November (U.S.A.) "Empress Beads" wrote in message ... I think that the fact that Czech AB bicones are normally glass gives you
a good argument that the seller was banking on people assuming glass, and therefore the auction was misleading by not specifically mentioning that they were plastic. -Kalera http://www.beadwife.com http://www.snipurl.com/kebay Karleen/Vibrant Jewels wrote: What would you all do if the auction description said you were buying 4mm Czech AB bicones and you got PLASTIC????? Do the Czechs even make anything plastic? Was I wrong to assume I was buying glass because it said Czech bicones? The pic was blurry and I couldn't see details. I'm trying to craft a polite complaint, but I ain't feeling polite right now. I should have known that the price was "too good to be true". I don't believe the other items were described correctly either, they should have been identified as seconds and they weren't. I'm just starting to list on eBay again myself and don't want the rude replies that a neg or neutral would bring. At the same time I don't think it's fair that the items were not correctly described. I would not have bought them if I knew they were just cheap plastic. ARGHHHH |

Which brings me to why I don't have anything in my pictures besides
beads... I tried and tired to find a readily recognizable small item to put in my auctions, something that is always the same size and universally available. If there is such a thing, I never found it. BTW, I do see eBay auctions with coins from the seller's country of origin being used as size reference all the time... but that's to be expected, because it says what country the auction is posted from, and normally the coin and country match. What's funny is when the coin is from a TOTALLY different country from the country the auction was posted from... I go, "huh?" -Kalera http://www.beadwife.com http://www.snipurl.com/kebay mªdcªt wrote: Yeah, and most of we "foreigners" wouldn't have a good idea of how big some FOREIGN country's 25 cent piece is! |
