Default Needlepoint shops in Austin, TX

I will be traveling to Austin, TX next week. Just wondering if there are
any shops in that area that I need to check out. I need a stash enhancement
spree! I can always use fibers! Thanks!

My younger DSis lives in Austin and she takes me to Ginger's when I am
visiting. It's been several years since I was there so not sure what it's like
anymore

I live near Houston. One of my needlework buddies goes to Austin regularly and
says Ginger has a lot of quilting stuff now and not very much needlework stuff.
I'd call and ask them before wasting a trip........

Thanks all! I will look up The Needle Works before I go.

Anne - I live near Houston as well. What stores do you go to? I used to go
to Needleart in Old Town Spring, but they closed. When I get into Houston I
stop in at Chapparal.

Ginger's has virtually nothing for needlepoint.

I live on the WRONG side of Houston for many good stores. I live Southeast
down towards Galveston. Luckily, there's a wonderful shop in League City
called Harbour Lights Stitchery. They have a nice selection of things. Every
few months I go into town and up to north side for a needlework road trip.
There's also a great store out in Richmond.

If you're a knitter you should hit Hill Country Weavers on South
Congress.
