OT - Well, kinda

Hi, all ... and Happy Easter to all.

Yesterday in the post from Allaya (Ah-LAY-uh -- thanks again, Noreen, I
think I've got it now -- such a beautiful name for me to
mispronounce!!!!!), she mentioned that she'll be accessing this Board
via Google and hopes it's not as quirky as it used to be. Nora
responded and said it's not that bad; just takes some getting used to.


K, here's my dumb question (seem to endlessly have dumb questions,
don't I?) I tried accessing this Board via Outlook Express's
newsreader capabilities, but apparently my ISP doesn't "belong" or
"subscribe" or whatever the deal with that is. I looked in Google's
help, and I didn't find it suggesting any other reader.

Is there one (free, hopefully!) that I can get to read this Board?
I've been accessing only via Google; and though perhaps it's better
than it was originally, it really IS still pretty quirky.

PS - Have been SO thinking about Gem and her predicament ... and
wondering what, if anything (besides praying and sending her love and
positive energy) that we might do for her. D'ya think it would be
silly to try to make stuff and sell on Ebay or something to raise money
for her? I just can't think of anything else even though logic tells
me that would be only a "drop in a bucket."
