I was out all of today and into the evening again with the never-ending fruitless job search. Tonight I am about ready to knit a tarp for the car. With size 1 needles. LOL Poor you, Karen. I crochet all the time, anyway, so doesn't make much difference. Your mind
doesn't always have to be on your project unless you have to count stitches or rows. And I have found, through a long lifetime, that what works for one doesn't always work for another. God Bless and have a GREAT day!! Hope in WA "red rose" wrote in message . .. Does anyone here knit, crochet, etc when they are feeling down in the dumps and if so do you find it helps to lift your spirits? Oh, yes-yes-yes! As others have said, it helps keep your sanity. I *was* going to say that it probably was best to do something that is easy and you can do well at these times, not a Pattern-from-Hell, but on further reflection, I take that back. Sometimes working on a PFH can kick your adrenaline into high gear and pull you right up. Joan -- Gone fibernatin'. |

Yarn crafts and depression
Yes,it's very helpful to boost your skills especially when bored or wanting to show your unique talent. Cross stitching and sewing beanbags is very handy and useful in making beanbag characters or cross stitching gardens and cute things. Cross stitches can be in single stitches or in-a-row stitches. This helps with sewing clothes,as a beginner
