OCTOBER CLASSES
Saturday October 4th 2003
Chainmaille: 4 in 1 Weave ~ 10am - 1pm
Learn the basics and theory of chainmaille weaving by making a
beautiful bracelet using the foundation 4 in 1 euro weave. This weave
is both quick and easy to grasp with many uses. You will be shown how
to further embellish your design using a variety of crystals and
charms.

Bead & Wi Basic Stringing ~ 2pm - 5pm
Want to make your own simple jewellery but don't feel you know enough
to get started? This class is for you. Learn about the basic materials
& techniques used in making fashionable tiger tail jewellery. How to
use different clasps, add pendants and the simple art of crimping.

Wednesday 8th October 2003 Bead & Wi Wire Jewellery ~ 10am - 1pm
Learn how to make a stunning choker out of just wire and crystals.
You'll be shown simple wire wrapping techniques that can be used to
design a variety of pieces. Learn which wire is best used for each
piece and how to add a clasp to wirework jewellery.

Saturday October 11th 2003
Off Loom Weaving: Chevron Chain Bracelet ~ 10am - 1pm
The chevron stitch is straight forward enough for even complete
beginners to make a stunning piece of jewellery first time! In this
class we will use the basic chevron to make a 2 row bracelet that is
both easy and fun. This stitch can be varied in many ways and this
flexibility makes it easy to experiment with different colours & beads
to create a bracelet that is unique.

Elke's Beaded Jewellery Set A ~ 2pm - 5pm
Elke will show you how to use different beading techniques to make a
beautiful stitched jewellery set of a matching choker and bracelet.
There is no limit to the variations in colours and designs with these
simple beading techniques.

Chainmaille: 4 in 1 Weave ~ 10am - 1pm

Saturday October 18th 2003
Bead & Wi Wire Jewellery ~ 10am - 1pm

Off Loom Weaving: Right Angle Weave ~ 2pm - 5pm
In this class you will learn single needle right angle weave by making
a sample strip with seed beads. You will then use this technique with
Czech glass beads to create a glamorous bracelet.

Wednesday October 22nd 2003
Bead & Wi Make A Tiara ~ 10am - 1pm
If you're getting married, going to a party or just want to wear one
around the house then come to this class. You'll learn how to
elegantly wire wrap a tiara band and create a stunning look of your
very own.

Saturday October 25th 2003
Off Loom Weaving: Flat Netting ~ 10am - 1pm
Learn how to use two colours of beads to create a flat netted bracelet
that can be either funky & casual or smart & elegant depending on what
combination is used, the choice is yours! The flat netting stitch is
very easy to learn and in no time at all you'll have a beautiful cuff
bracelet that will be the envy of all your friends. No previous
experience of beading is required for this class.

Elke's Beaded Jewellery Set B~ 2pm -5pm
Similar to Elke's class of Oct. 11th but this time you will make a
beautiful flower jewellery set. Again these techniques are straight
forward and suitable for absolute beginners.
