Halloween Quilt
I started working on a Halloween quilt for me yesterday.
I had all these wonderful 10" Halloweem squares, thanks to Wendy (frood), and wanted to do *something* with them. Anything. But I was having problems deciding ona pattern, as I really loathed cutting them up. They are really very pretty. So I was surfing around the net, clicking on various links that I got through the blockcentral newsletter (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/blockcentral/ for those of you who haven't discovered this great source of info) and one of the links was for a beginner big block quilt that used 10.5" unfinished squares. So I thought to myself, I can modify that, no problem! So my Halloween quilt is born. It probably won't look anything like the original pattern (here's the address for that, BTW. http://www.claudiasquiltshoppe.com/A...e3BigBlock.htm )when it's done, but that's OK. It will be mine all mine. Just had to share. Michelle in Gander |
