And let's not forget "play chicken****". For those who may not know

That's for wimps! Real people play cowpat bingo!

I'd put a window in the door.

You'd get time off for good behaviour and get to see a castle or two....

You ain't seen nothing if you havent seen the annual running of the llamas
in my hometown. That is rural Wisconsin at its finest. Imagine a town
closing off its main street to allow this festivity. Imagine the locals
gathering to watch, beer in hand, kids in tow, llamas to the right and left.
Llama wool being spun into yarn. Fried chicken sold from a tent. Grown
people with llama puppets...
Try that in NYC!

My turn to tell a story! When I was six my folks took me to the Philadelphia
Zoo. My Dad was a big time camera nut and loved to fiddle with light meters
and all that stuff. He would get so engrossed in that, that many times he'd
miss the best shots. LOL So there we are, Mom, Dad, and me, in the
Children's Zoo section, close to the llama pen. Dad's messing with the
camera as a llama steps up to him. He's oblivious as the llama leans forward
and lips the end of his tie (Dad ALWAYS wore a white shirt and tie...I never
ever saw him in anything that didn't button down). Mom and I are staring in
amazement as this critter slowly lips and laps its way up Dad's necktie,
right until its head jerks back, taking Dad with it. Dad drops his meter,
yells "Hey, cut that out!!!" and proceeds to pull a slimy, llama-spit
encrusted tie out of the critter's mouth. Mom was laughing so hard she was
breathless as Dad glares at her accusingly. "Why didn't you warn me?" She
just shook her head helplessly and laughed. Poor Daddy, standing there with
his light meter dangling from his wrist, struggling to wipe his tie clean
with a handkerchief. To this day that's the first thing I think of when
someone mentions llamas.

Our neighbor had them and Nubian goats. The llamas were not fond of us for
some reason, and we had to be careful when we walked down our road.

I used to go this llama farm regularly to pet, feed and photograph them. I had
a fringed leather jacket and the llamas loved to chew on the fringe, it kept
them occupied so I could take pictures close up. I usually would end up
laughing and giggling so much I couldn't take pictures. They never spit on me.
Only the little kids, LOL.
