Another Wisconsin shop

It's been around for 30 years, but I just discovered it:
YDS, pronounced "yards," on Hwy. 116 between Omro and Winneconne. [West of
Oshkosh, about 60 miles north of Milwaukee.]

The woman who owns it told me she retired 30 years ago and started a craft
business which has turned into more quilting than crafts. It's in an
outbuilding next to her farmhouse. The damp-near-mildew smell was a bit
off-putting (giving DH another excuse to stay in the car--he has severe
allergies) but the fabrics themselves were fine. LOTS of current, quality
fabrics -- at super-duper prices ($5/yd for Indonesian batiks.) No credit
cards, no website, but great deals.

[FYI I write "Indonesian batik" to differentiate from "Indian batik"--there
is a difference.]
