Quick and easy! :D
Sure wish I would have seen this before I ordered the cell phone case
pattern printed on fusible interfacing from QuiltSmart! Donna in Idaho "Sandy" wrote in message ... When I was in Flagstaff for camp last month, I saw some adorable little cell phone cases at the LQS there. The pattern was *almost* ready to be printed, and I had them send me one when it was finished. Today I've made three of these little things -- each one only takes a very little time to complete. You *could* quilt the case, but I didn't. G They're lined with wool felt, which I had on hand from a previous project, so I just picked some in coordinating colors; you could use a matching color instead. This afternoon, as I tucked my water bottle into a
commercial case, I realize it is very similar to your new cell phone case, Sandy. So, I will trace that off and see how that works for a cell phone. I looked at the I-Pod CASE pattern at Connecting Threads and realized it is nearly same size as a CP case. So, I will add a button hole to the CP case, and a wee pocket to hold the cord. That should work. In any case, it will be easier than making an I-Pod instrument!! This one is re-usable, since it's not printed on interfacing. :S -- Sandy in Henderson, near Las Vegas sw.foster1 (at) gmail (dot) com (remove/change the obvious) http://www.sandymike.net |

I'd read that the iPod case would also work for a cell phone, so I'm not really surprised. You may want to wait a day or two, though, to let the ideas "jell". -- Sandy in Henderson, near Las Vegas sw.foster1 (at) gmail (dot) com (remove/change the obvious) http://www.sandymike.net |

Actually, I need to wait a day or two so I can borrow
I-Pod or MP3 or whatever! We do not own any, so I need to have the instrument to fit. I would like to make some of these small accessories to donate to the church bazaar.
