Default Bernina Software

Have we any Bernina users here, please? .. I am new to the
group. I have just started using my 3year old machine for
embroidery, running Artista Software Version 2.0 (180machine
firmware with Version 3.01)My lap-top has just given up the
ghost(was on Windows 95!)When I re-install the software on my
new lap-top(hopefully!)is there a better up-date that I can
obtain without having to buy anything to bring it up to date? I
seem to get very confused reading the Bernina web-site.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

I can't help with your question, but you might take a look at the
alt.sewing.mach-embroider newsgroup, they seem to be a very informed and
helpful group.

Go to www.quiltropolis.com and find the Artista list. It's a list
dedicated to the 180-200 Artista and it has a Bernina rep that participates.
