Just wondering why the Country box is already filled in as USA? Is this a
non international version or should I just change it?

Charlie.

I've been asked when I'm going to update the directory...well, why not

now?

Deadline is October 15th to get your info to me. This time we're trying
something different. Alice has set up a form for everyone to fill out. The
info will be mailed to me when you hit the submit button. Isn't she great?
Instructions are on the website below. As always, if you know someone who

is
usually on the newsgroup but is not reading right now, let them know it's
time to update.

I understand floralsonblack just fine, what I'm wondering about is them
foreigners such as Kate D who have had to adjust their addresses. If we
follow the directory verbatim (not trying to impress you here and can't
remember if that's one word or two, anyhow) will all the quilts and
chocolates for testing that we ship to Kate arrive at her door? Polly

Thank you, LN and Alice, we appreciate your hard work. Note: Thanks,
too, for letting me know one word should be in "Yum #1". I had to change
the wording to 'floralsonblack." 8^) Nancycog in MD

Yup!

Here in the UK the address works for me like this:

Person name
House number and terrace name
Road/street
Village
Postal Town
County
Post code
Country

This is the order I entered it, so it should work. We live in an
isolated terrace on a country lane outside the village away from town!
Town isn't far, but there are fields of sheep, orchards full of fruit
trees, and woodland between us and it.

Great idea!

I had to go back and eliminate the spaces between words so I'm Nann Hilyard
instead of Nann Blaine Hilyard and I live in WinthropHarbor rather than
Winthrop Harbor. But I figure LN can straighten the entry out.
(Confidence!)

Printing is not necessary, but LN thought the button would be a nice touch
as did I. Oh, BTW, anyone entering a fictitious name will be charged a FQ!
LN has enough to do without weeding out the "faux folks"!

Great job on the form, Alice. When I really did try it, I had such fun I
filled it in three times. How is the great cookbook coming along? Polly

You think the Directory form is great? Wait until you see the recipe
collection! All the basic pages have been designed and I am now in the
process of entering the 150 or so recipes we received. I ended up using
frames for those who know what those are. I know, I know, some folks hate
frames, but it works best for this application. I am hoping to get
everything done by the end of October. It's been delayed more than I
counted on, but I have ended up traveling more than anticipated with my job.
Trust me, it will be worth the wait! At least, I think so.

I'm sure glad that everyone else has already figured out all the glitches in
the form - I was able to pop in and fill it out in no time at all - no
problems. yeehaw

PLEASE DO NOT FILL OUT THE FORM IN ALL CAPS. IT IS WRITTEN IN THE
INSTRUCTIONS TO PLEASE NOT DO THAT.

IF YOU DO THAT, I END UP HAVING TO RETYPE ALL OF YOUR INFO INSTEAD OF

JUST
CUTTING AND PASTING IT IN. DOING SO IS A PAIN IN THE BUTT AND THERE WILL
COME A TIME WHEN I'LL JUST NOT DO IT. YOUR ENTRY WILL BE REJECTED. THIS

IS
SOMETHING THAT HAPPENS EVERY TIME.

PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS!

Thank you.

Well, I'm just hoping as a "mostly lurker" I get on the list. Sounded
like strict requirements from the first page....

Well then, you are in good company. I may not get in either because I
don't post here very often. Oh well
