Its been mothers day over here in uk. I think for the 1st time I had a 100%
collection of cards!lol The boys are really improving in their old age!I've
had a nice day,but made the mistake of having a couple of glasses of red
with lunch and have dozed the afternoon away! Better not fire up sm today!

Happy Mother's Day Estelle! Maybe running the sm isn't a good idea, but the
frame of mind might be conducive to designing something? All that relaxation
and contentment channeled into a pretty quilt?

You missed it by not being in the UK. Ours isn't until May 14.

Don't panic.

Yours is on a different day to ours.

Ours is always on the 3rd Sunday before Easter and is when
(supposedly) servants were given the day off to go to see their
mothers.

Its traditional name is Mothering Sunday, but nowdays it gets called
Mothers' Day as well.

DD always remembers, but DS actually managed a card this year (suspect
his girlfriend organised him!).

I got a smashing card from James, and had a delish roast chicken dinner
with friends and FiL. Joe of the heart op and replacement knee is
looking very well, I am pleased to report.
