Looking for Suggestions for 50th Anniv Banner and Picture Board
My parents 50th wedding anniversary is coming up at the end of the
month and I am in charge of creating some sort of banner for the hall and creating a picture board with various pictures from their 50 years together. I'm looking for ideas. For the banner, I really don't like those computer print-out banners too much. I'd like to do something kinda neat, but I don't know what. Something made out of fabric? poster board? Any suggestions are welcome! And for the picture board I've usually seen these as a poster board or bulletin board on an easel at the door with a collage of pictures and some decorations. Any ideas on how to liven that up? I am into scrapbooking so have lots of those type of supplies, but I'm up for anything. Thanks in advance for any ideas. |

Is there such a thing as having your photos printed onto edible paper?
Because then you could put a different photo on top of each cup cake for the guests! That would cause a stir. Hows about an applique for the banner? you can use a sewing machine. Research what was in fashion and what was all the rage at that time and try and incorporate into the applique! You can use that image maker stuff that you paint onto a colour photo copy over fabric and it copies it onto the fabric! or hows about all the guests wearing a cheap t shirt with a phot of them on...you can make the prints on your printer onto t shirt transfer paper..then iron them on! that would be hilarious!!!! Hope these ideas inspire you.. Love from over the big pond!...Ems |
