that's OK Jack, he has to hear it form a Canadian for it to make sense

to
him.
There' places to cut corners, and places it just doesn't make sense...

hey
if your tight for cash, I'll buy your element for you, you send me one

of
those neat bottles, you can keep the booze even, I just want the bottle

and
top!! Wait, send the booze to Jack, and when it's empty, he will send

me
the bottle and top!! Yeah, that's it!

You're getting warmer Java. First you offered me a VHS tape for a

bottle.
Than an old Tiffany book. Now a $35 coil. Hmmmm let's see.... a $500
Bacarrat decanter for a coil? Maybe if you threw in a 900 degree tip.....

$500 for a decanter? Now who is delusional?

Bacarrat.... I just put 'em up for auction and that's what they pay. Of
course they're filled with 35 year old single malt scotch. That's gotta be
worth a 900 tip?

Not Hardly, well maybe to someone it is.

The value is the whole of the item, to a paperweight collector, such as I,
the value is only in the stopper, I'm not a big fan of single malt, was
never a vice I could afford to acquire the taste for. The decanter is OK,
but crystal is crystal, but the stopper, with all the old millifiori and the
crystal layer, that would look good by itself, anywhere. But still not
worth the dough......to me, anyway.

I agree but the Bacarrat name and the fact that they "retire" the old
designs, make them highly collectable. By the way the Oceanie is the only
one I've seen with millifiore in the stopper. The scotches are all gone. I
only have a few of the empty's left. I hear you may have some Tiffany books
with dust on them available for barter?

Hmmmm they aren't as dazzling as my memory thinks they were, guess I should
have got one when I thought they were exciting, don't have as much interest
for me. I thought the Millifiori was a bit more vivid. Oh well, I have
memories of youth that are similar....
