What did Santa bring?
I'm patiently waiting reports on what goodies Santa brought you all. Santa
came early this year and took me to Scotland with all the shopping exeditions included. Oh, I guess I did get a new set of tires on my van the other day. Merry Christmas to me! Almost as expensive as my plane ticket! Hope you all had a great day. Time to slice the roast and set the table. KJ |

What did Santa bring?
I got a real surprise this year - DH actually went to the LQS and bought me
stuff! I usually get quilty goodies from him each year, but he always orders online. He told me as soon as he walked in and asked for the Olfa Rotating Rotary cutting mat, a voice from the back said "you must be Wendy's husband!" He also tucked Winter/Christmas fabric FQs into several of my other presents! And I got The Christmas Quilt by Jennifer C.! -- Wendy http://griffinsflight.com/Quilting/quilt1.htm De-STUFF email address to reply "KJ" wrote in message news%Crf.674611$xm3.174045@attbi_s21... Brenda got one of those and the Bernina "Swiss Army Knife." The really huge present will be delayed for a couple of weeks so I won't spoil it here. Merry Xmas to all. Frank Reid |

What did Santa bring?
LOL, we are on boxing day - washing all the new clothes the kids got,
smashing all the boxes things came in. As you may have read I was lucky enough to get a beautiful charm bracelet, a "new" old Nigella cookbook, the new Pat Cornwell book, car seat covers (with the Pink Panther on), a sleeping bag, makeup bag complete with makeup (my choice - a good Avon dealer buy). From DH's parents I've got 3 lovely new blouses for work, a skirt and t-shirt. And everyone close by is healthy and happy. Just a perfect christmas all round. -- Sharon from Melbourne Australia (Queen of Down Under) http://www.geocities.com/shazrules/craft.html (takes a while to load) http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/shazrules/my_photos (same as website but quicker) "KJ" wrote in message news%Crf.674611$xm3.174045@attbi_s21... What did Santa bring?
Besides the Horn table that arrived earlier, I got a laser level (DH
*does* listen when I ramble on about stuff I read here!), the Bernina Quilter's Swiss Army Knife from DH and Madeline Peyroux's Careless Love CD from DS. My sister sent me a most gorgeous cut velvet shawl. Both DDs are with their in-laws now so we will re-convene the family celebration on New Year's Eve day. Both of the DDs are quilters so I am hoping for something good :-) Happy [insert your favorite winter holiday name here] and best wishes for the New Year. What did Santa bring?
A beautiful leather coat my DH brought back from Argentina (unfortunately I
need to lose a few pounds for it to fit well), a computer cam and microphone/headset combo so we can chat "live" while he is away in Denmark for the next 6 months, a quilt square a day calendar from my granddaughters, a James Avery charm necklace with several new charms to add to the vintage charms I have picked up on E-Bay. We made omelets in a bag for breakfast -- lots of fun and very tasty and I didn't have to cook them! We are waiting for the legs of lamb to be finished and then will sit down for lamb and couscous to be followed by a chocolate fountain fondu. All in all an absolutely lovely day. It sounds like others have had a great day also. My happiest Holiday wishes to all. |
