No, I think what Scarlet actually said was, " I'll think about that
tomorrow". See? the brain was fried. Today it's only toasty. I'm still
playing with my graphic and digitizing. Getting closer though.

I think I'll drag the video out and watch it this weekend.
If I can't even remember it has been a long time since I watched
it. Guess Rhett didn't give a dam* now that I think on it ; )
Hope the graphics get there.

You are right Diana, when I do squeeze in time to work on the quilts it does
make me happy! I find it very relaxing too! When I decided to take up
quilting I told myself that if I ever started to feel too pressured (by
myself) to get things done on a certain deadline and it started to feel more
like a "have to do" than a "want to do" that I would stop quilting. I tend
to be bad about pushing myself to get a lot of things done and all that does
is stress me out. I took this up because I love it and I want to continue
to love it so I will not pressure myself! Therefore even though I hope to
be making these quilts for Christmas for my two grandchildren if they are
not done I won't worry about it - they each have birthdays in Feburary and
for that matter you don't even have to have an occasion to give a gift of
love to someone you love!

Slowly progressing on my quilts and reaping the benefits it gives me to work
on them!

Sometimes the thrill of getting a whole block made before going to work

was
enough to make it worth while. Im at home with a fun 3 year old now. I

have
more time to quilt than some, less than others. Its kind of like that AA
philosophy, its not how much you quilt, or how often, but what happens

when
you do. When you squeeze in time, it makes you happy, yes? Thats the
important part.
Good luck on your first full sized quilts! whoohooo!

I'm working on two twin size I Spy quilts. These are my first full size
quilts so we'll see how it goes! So far I have all the squares cut out

for
both quilts and I've started cutting and piecing the sashings for one of
them. I also have patterns and plans on making a Christmas wall hanging

and
buffet runner but I've not gotten anywhere with those yet.

I am *very* impressed by everything all the rest of you have in the

works!
Some days it's all I can do to get home from work and get dinner and

laundry
but I try to work a little each day on the quilts. I love hearing about

and
seeing what everyone else is doing!

What a lovely and healthy attitude you have! I especially love the part
about not needing to wait for a special occasion to give a quilt. Your
grandkids are lucky to have a gramma like you.

Well? ;-)
What sort of things does everyone have going at the moment in the quilt
family? Dragging out PIGS or finishing up UFOs and WIPS or have new

quilts

started appearing?
I'm still working on the queen size LC borders, getting ready to MQ

the

siggy quilt, plotting the next borders on DDs quilt, and playing with
layouts for Mike's 'Things go better with Coke" quilt. Sometime in the
middle of those I need to design and make two quilted Christmas

stockings.

Lets hear your list!

Well I am stitching away at the Cathedral Windows that I have been
talking about for the last week or so that should be done in the next
couple weeks.
Then I want to get started on my "dream quilt". However I do have
a couple WIP's that should be completed that I had to put aside earlier
in the spring when I took that little turn with my health. They really
should be completed since they are really right at the finish line. I
also have to design a "Red Wings Hockey Quilt" for my daughter's
husband. He is almost 'foaming at the mouth' for this quilt , and
has been for several years. So it too is at the top of the list. So
these are the top projects for my quilting projects right now.

Love the elephants, Wendy! This is shaping up into a fantastic quilt. Does
MFR know about it yet?

Aside from my daily chaos management and occasional piratical duties, I've
been working on several projects.

- I Spy quilts - one each for Spike and Giles. These are twin size (of
course!), similar in design and layout (which I'm making up as I go along)
but Spike's has pink fabric borders, and Giles' is purple. (also, Giles'

has
a block with Paddington Bear holding the letter G, and Spike's has
Paddington holding an A, just so DH doesn't have to remember who is

purple,
and who is pink ;-P ) I'm about 1/2 finished with assembling the tops. I
work on them alternately, one stage at a time.

- FFF3 is basted, and ready to start quilting. The other 2 FFFs are done.

- I finished embroidering around the edges of the elephants for Miss Fussy
Rose's quilt, Pink Elephants on Parade
http://griffinsflight.com/Quilting/WIPs.htm

This is all I'm currently working on, however, I will soon start working

on
a plaid quilt for my mom, and I'm sure I'll work in a few Halloween
projects. Oh, I'm also busy packing for the Pennsylvania National Quilt
Extravaganza (what's a vaganza, and how do you get an extra one?) this

week
in Ft. Washington, PA. I'll be flying up Thursday evening, and going to

the
show Friday and Saturday.
